Nichelle Mitchem Served on Headstart Policy Council
Nichelle Mitchem, long-time advocate for battered women and their children, served on the Policy Council for Head Start from 2001-2002.
Head Start Learning Tree (HSTL) is a comprehensive preschool program, focusing on low-income children and their families. HSLT provides educational services to preschool children. It also provides supportive services for the children’s families related to: health, nutrition, education, and social services.
