Author Gerda Gallop-Goodman interviewed Nichelle Mitchem, longtime advocate for women and children, on the topic of violence against women for the book Crimes Against Women. Specifically, Nichelle Mitchem discussed the often long-standing detrimental effects of domestic violence on the victims’ self-esteem. In the interview, Nichelle addressed the importance of individual and group counseling for survivors of domestic violence.
